Aldridge strutted her stuff down the runway at Tuesday’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in the firework-themed bra, as the crowd got to its feet to jam with The Weeknd, who perfomed his hit “Can’t Feel My Face.”
The bejeweled lingerie, valued at $2 million, is comprised of diamonds, yellow sapphires, blue topaz and pink quartz and set in gold by jeweler, Mouwad. She also got a sparkling collar necklace by the brand and “wings” made out of firework-like pom-poms to set the bra-and-belt set to maximum effect.
The 29-year-old told PeopleStyle at the bra’s big reveal that she was excited to wear the pricey lingerie, and to follow in the footsteps of veteran Angels.
“I’m super excited and I’m anxious to just get on the runway and wear it and be in the moment,” Aldridge said. “Some of the girls who have worn it in the past are just like, ‘Enjoy every moment of it.’ It’s such a special experience and I’m really excited.”
Aldridge was among models like Behati Prinsloo, Alessandra Ambrosio and newcomers Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid at the show.
The Angels weren’t the only ladies to rock the runway though: Selena Gomez performed her new song “Me & My Girls” on the stage and Ellie Goulding sang “Love Me Like You Do” from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.
After a long night of barely-there lingerie, Angel wings and catwalk strutting, Aldridge, now a seven-year vet of the brand’s annual show, uploaded a snap of her jewel encrusted get-up to Instagram.
